About Sobriety Navigator

Our story

The original Sobriety Navigator (sobrietynavigator.org) was a recovery education and community platform that published over 300 articles and offered tools for people in recovery. The site was discontinued, and the content is no longer available.

We are rebuilding Sobriety Navigator as a product focused on sober living communities — the operators, house managers, and staff who support people in early recovery every day. We have permission to rebuild what is recoverable and to create a new product around sober living operations.

What we are building

Sobriety Navigator has two main tools:

• Community workspace — a practical operations tool for sober living operators to manage residents, coordinate staff, and track recovery activity.
• Recovery Compass — a personal tool for individuals in recovery: sobriety counter, daily check-in, private journal, goals, and meeting log. All stored locally on your device.

What we are not

• Not a medical service or clinical software
• Not a HIPAA-covered entity or business associate
• Not a crisis service — for emergencies, call 911
• Not a substitute for professional treatment or counseling
• Not making claims about treatment outcomes or clinical validation

Business model

Sobriety Navigator is a software product for sober living organizations. We are currently in active development and working with operators. Access and pricing are discussed during onboarding.
